Carga de imágenes en la base de datos MySQL blob en codeigniter

$this->input->post('photo') en el modelo no funcionará para recuperar la información de la imagen. Porque las imágenes se almacenan en $_FILES no en $_POST. Por lo tanto, debe usar la biblioteca de carga en codeignitor como a continuación.

Para recuperar la imagen, escriba una función en el modelo como se muestra a continuación.

Y tampoco es una buena práctica almacenar la imagen y recuperarla de la base de datos. En lugar de eso, intente almacenar la imagen en una carpeta y almacene la ruta en la base de datos como se muestra a continuación.
