Cuando crea una tabla de búsqueda en SQL Workshop, APEX genera varias declaraciones DDL y DML para hacer el trabajo. En el último paso del asistente, debería poder expandir la región SQL en la parte inferior para ver el código. Desafortunadamente, no sale bien formateado, pero no es demasiado difícil de limpiar.
Como prueba, entré y creé una tabla de búsqueda en la columna TRABAJO de la tabla EMP. Aquí está el código que se generó. Lo formateé y agregué comentarios para explicar las piezas que necesitará y las que no.

En cuanto a la declaración de inserción que completa la tabla de búsqueda, esta es la versión modificada que necesitará:
