Secuencias de Entity Framework Code First y SQL Server 2012

No sé si esto podría ayudarlo, pero así es como hice mi registro de auditoría usando código primero. Lo siguiente está codificado en una clase que hereda de DbContext.

en mi constructor tengo lo siguiente

IObjectContextAdapter objectContextAdapter = (this as IObjectContextAdapter);
objectContextAdapter.ObjectContext.SavingChanges += SavingChanges;

Este es mi método para guardar cambios conectado previamente
