Verificando la superposición de rangos de tiempo, el problema del vigilante [SQL]

Aquí hay una manera de aplanar el rango de fechas como esta

Start          | End
2009-1-1 06:00 | 2009-1-1 18:00
2009-2-1 20:00 | 2009-2-2 04:00
2009-2-2 06:00 | 2009-2-2 14:00

Tienes que comparar anterior y siguiente fechas en cada fila y ver si

• Inicio de la fila actual la fecha se encuentra entre el intervalo de fechas de la fila anterior.
• Final de la fila actual la fecha se encuentra entre el intervalo de fechas de la siguiente fila.

Usando el código anterior, implementar UDF es tan simple como seguir.
